Our Government Helping Rural Communities with Infrastructure

On Thursday during Question Period, I had the opportunity to ask my colleague, Ministry of Infrastructure Laurie Scott about how our government is helping Ontario’s small rural and northern communities tackle the various infrastructure challenges they are facing. I appreciated hearing Minister Scott’s assurances that almost $200 million in funding is being allocated through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF), including over $6.1 million in Sarnia-Lambton, to allow communities to move forward with critical infrastructure projects, while providing flexibility to address local needs.
